SuRT Kurzwaffe

This is a handgun SuRT safety-and-rules examination, with a theoretical and a practical part, rather than a staged match; the page gives no stage or match-round count. The event is on 30 January 2027, with a squad listed from 08:00 to about 18:00 and a second, practice-only squad from 12:00 to about 18:00 that has no places. The listed capacity is 16 places, and the fee is €60. Payment is due within seven days of registration by bank transfer to BDS Hessen e.V., using the stated reference “SuRT KW + Name + Datum Veranstaltung”; late payment may result in removal in favor of waitlisted applicants. Registration is scheduled to open on 29 November 2026 at 19:30 and close on 25 December 2026. Applicants must have at least three months of BDS membership, a current insurance mark in their BDS ID, and an applicable firearms-law permit; the written exam is online. For the practical part, the organizer requires eye and hearing protection, a compliant pistol of at least 9 mm (revolvers excluded), at least three magazines, a suitable holster and magazine pouches, and about 100 rounds; .22-caliber firearms are allowed only for youth.
