SuRT Kurzwaffe

This is a one-day handgun SuRT assessment, with a theoretical and a practical part; the written exam is conducted online, with preparatory tasks about a week beforehand. The listed session is Saturday 08:00 to approximately 18:00, and a second squad is listed from 12:00 to approximately 18:00 for practical work only. The fee is €60, payable by bank transfer within seven days after registration; unpaid registrations may be removed in favor of waitlisted applicants. Registration is sold out and available only for the waiting list, with a stated deadline of 6 November 2026. Participants must have at least three months of BDS membership, a current insurance stamp, and a qualifying firearms authorization. Practical equipment includes eye and hearing protection, a compliant pistol of at least 9 mm (revolvers excluded), at least three magazines, a suitable holster and magazine pouches, and about 100 rounds; .22 LR firearms are allowed only for youths.
